Blog Article Draft

Glitter has broken the internet with being the BIGGEST Instagram trend of 2017! But have you grabbed yourself the bargain?!

Glitter has dominated our Instagram feed this year with turning anything (and I mean anything!) absolutely beautiful. We have gone from the basics of applying it onto our eyelids to smothering our boobs and bum in it! On Instagram, accounts like Gypsy Shrine have generated 300K glitter obsessed followers, collabing with glitter fairy bloggers such as Hannah Richardson with 300K followers. However, if you have been put off the Gypsy Shrine with them charging between £15-20 for glitter and face gems (ridiculous I know) I am about to save your day with this new and upcoming glitter brand. (no name yet) only set up in Summer of 2017 but has yet generated 180K followers, with having pop up stands at festivals and collabing with other festival fairy’s such as TigerLily with 90K followers promoting their products.

Now, I know you’re probably thinking- aren’t these glitter and face gems going to be outrageously expensive? No way! The individual glitters are £3 and face gems are only £5- and they’re literally just a dupe for the Gypsy Shrine! When purchasing the glitters, you can also buy a face glue which is £6- however this will last you loads of applications. So, are these products any good? Firstly, what I love about these products is that they’re reusable as you can just stick them back onto the packaging, using them for other events you may have. You can also create numerous amounts of looks with these glitter and face gems. You can place them wherever you want- from on your forehead, under your eyes, chest, or even go crazy and apply it onto your boobs and bums! I went out and applied the face glitter and gems using their glue. They stayed on all night and felt so secure; so you can party all night without the risk of you loosing part of your glitter look! However, if you don’t have the glitter glue you can always use Vaseline or eyelash glue as it does the same trick. The whole motive of (no name yet) is to make you feel creative and free, so you can have jaw dropping reactions when you walk through the door. Now, I bet you’re wondering where you can actually wear them. These looks would be perfect for festivals, or events! However, I do think glitter has now become a social norm so you can rock these looks on nights out or even in the day if you’re feeling a bit adventurous- however I don’t think your parents would approve of you walking down the street with glitter boobs. Overall I would definitely recommend these products because they’re cheap, easy to use and make you feel and look amazing!

So, what’s my last opinion on the biggest trend to hit Instagram in 2017? It’s INCREDIBLE! Glitter has now hit our mainstream and don’t worry it won’t be going anywhere, you’ll never be too late to jump onto this trend!
